Jareth silhouette/ Inner Bowie

Completed after three days, I give you A DAVID BOWIE INSPIRED PAINTING!

YAHH!!!!!!!!!!!

So I decided I really wanted something Labyrinth for my room (other than my Labyrinth poster). So I found a Jareth Silhouette here on DA Created by

I sketched it out on the canvas using only my eyes for sizing. After I decided to add Jareth's memorable necklace in the middle. After I was happy with my outline I grabbed my phone and doodled an idea on my phone then grabbed some sketch paper and used color pencils to see if I liked the idea. I liked it enough to continue with it, I decided to fill the Silhouettes with different essences of Bowie. Bowie is British so the Union Jack was necessary, and Aladdin Sane is one of the most striking album covers of his. The Union Jack came out very nice, it's not completely traditional but I like it. I put pink with the lighting bolt cause I didn't want white on white. Jareth's necklace was a lot of fun to paint, I got to experiment with texture and shading and no matter what I did I couldn't mess up.
Once I finished with all the painting I did one last final outline on everything and TA DAAA!
